To serve our community, we volunteered through Hands On Atlanta to become "Warehouse Warriors" with Helping Mamas—a local organization that distributes essential baby items and period products to women and girls in need. SNP members, along with other volunteers, assisted in sorting and shelving through donations. For more information on Helping Mamas, see the link below:

Neuroscience
To learn about the neuroscience of reproductive health, we read The Women's Brain Book by Dr. Sarah McKay. We specifically focused on the topics of the menstrual cycle; sex, love, and neurobiology; pregnancy; and menopause. Using this knowledge we were able to discuss more about the current political climate as well as develop questions for our trivia night fundraiser. Policy
To educate our community about reproductive health, SNP hosted a trivia fundraiser, and all proceeds ($1,019!) benefitted the Harriet Tubman Women's Clinic who provides reproductive healthcare to uninsured women in Atlanta and the surrounding areas.
