ALL ABOUT GSU SNP

Neuroscience graduate students at Georgia State University wanted to find a way to use our knowledge and resources to educate and serve our community about important topics that could be tied back to neuroscience research. Thus, Service–Neuroscience–Policy (SNP) Journal Club was born!

In 2023, we became a chapter of the National Science Policy Network (NSPN).

So far, SNP has covered the topics of food insecurity, mental wellbeing, pollutants and the brain, and reproductive health, and sleep. We have had the opportunity to support local organizations in the Atlanta area—Free99Fridge, Our Giving Garden, Panther's Pantry, West Atlanta Watershed Alliance, American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (Georgia chapter), Helping Mamas, and Harriet Tubman Women's Clinic.
