Plarning Parties!

In order to support our homeless neighbors, we regularly collect unused plastic shopping bags, which we cut apart, tie together, and roll up to turn into balls of plastic yarn, or "plarn". These plarn balls are donated to the local Bags-to-Blankets organization, who crochet the balls into durable, weather proof, and warm blankets. Then, Bags-to-Blankets partners with community organizations to pass out blankets across the city.

Our plarning parties occur regularly, and we try to have a few every semester!
